Chia Pudding Instructions
- Add cottage cheese, milk, chia seeds, vanilla, and maple syrup to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Divide the mixture evenly into two mason jars or bowls.
- Place in the refrigerator while preparing the apple crisp topping.
Apple Crisp Topping Ingredients
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- ¼ cup raw honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¼ cup milk of choice
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup raw, chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon Truvia brown sugar substitute (optional)
Apple Crisp Topping Instructions
- Prepare the apples and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter and honey. Stir until melted and combined.
- Add the diced apples, chopped pecans, and optional brown sugar substitute. Cook until the apples are soft and tender, about 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and milk. Simmer for 1 additional minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in the rolled oats until fully coated.
Assembly
