Serves: 4-5

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • 2 tsp kosher salt (or 1 tsp of any other salt)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick foil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, coriander, and cumin. Use your hands to mix gently until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 30 meatballs. Wet your hands slightly to make shaping them easier.
  4. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes:

  • Handle the meatballs gently to avoid making them too dense. Avoid over-mixing.
  • For a smoky flavor, substitute smoked paprika for sweet paprika. You can also try chili powder for an extra kick.
