Serves: 4-5
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground pork
- 2 tsp kosher salt (or 1 tsp of any other salt)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick foil.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, coriander, and cumin. Use your hands to mix gently until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 30 meatballs. Wet your hands slightly to make shaping them easier.
- Arrange the meatballs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
- Serve immediately.
Notes:
- Handle the meatballs gently to avoid making them too dense. Avoid over-mixing.
- For a smoky flavor, substitute smoked paprika for sweet paprika. You can also try chili powder for an extra kick.
