Ingredients:
- 1 almond flour tortilla
- 2 tbsp sugar-free marinara sauce
- ¼ cup low-fat mozzarella
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Additional topping such as turkey pepperoni, spinach, mushrooms, olives, peppers, etc
- Red pepper flakes and grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F.
- Lightly spray your oven safe skillet (or cookie sheet) with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place your tortilla into your skillet and add your marinara sauce, making sure to spread to the edges.
- Now it’s time for any additional topping that you choose. Be sure not to stack your ingredients too thickly as this may change cook times or cause the tortilla to give under the weight.
- Place your pizza in either your oven or air fryer. If you’re using the oven, you will want to bake your pizzas for 4-5 minutes or until crispy. If using an air fryer, air fry for 3-5 minutes depending on how crispy you like your crust.
- Once your pizza is done, remove it and allow it to cool for 1-2 minutes before sprinkling on your red pepper flakes or parmesan cheese. Once it’s cooled, it’s time to enjoy this healthier twist on a delicious thin crust pizza!
