(Serves 8)
Ingredients:
- 24-32 fresh asparagus stalks, ends trimmed
- 8 slices of bacon, regular cut
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the grill to 400°F (I prefer to use an indoor grill but outside works just as well if you prefer it that way).
- Remove the hard bottom ends of the asparagus with a knife then toss the asparagus in olive oil, salt & pepper.
- Grab 3-4 asparagus stalks and hold them together evenly. Starting right under the tips of the stalks, wrap tightly with a piece of bacon down to the bottom – overlap if needed. Repeat this seven more times.
- Place your bacon wrapped asparagus onto your grill and grill for 2o-25 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the asparagus is tender.
- When done, allow your asparagus to cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
